MAYFAIR CDC HELPS RAISE MONEY FOR IRISH RADIO

     On Sunday, July 27, 2008 the Mayfair CDC volunteered their time to help raise money for two local IRISH radio shows. From 11AM until 1PM Reese Hartey was on the air along with Vincent Gallagher and Marianne MacDonald hosting the radio show.  During the course of these two hours Brian King, Executive Director of the Mayfair CDC, Linda Vivino, Project Manager and Teresa Hartey where on the phones accepting pledges from callers.  We are proud to say we helped raise over $1300 for the IRISH radio show "Come West Along The Road" which aires every Sunday morning on AM 800.  Both Vincent and Marianne volunteer their own time each Sunday to kept the IRISH music alive in the Delaware Valley.  So next Sunday when you are sitting down with your coffee remember to tune in to AM 800 and listen and perhaps call in a make a small donation.
